Our team was tasked with identifying opportunities for improved quantitative analysis for GCS complexity scoring. We leveraged existing data to propose a new complexity model and updated dashboard visualizations to deliver precise metrics to better inform GCS decision making.

This year’s SCOPE team worked to create an AI-driven tool that identified opportunities to accelerate the delivery of life-changing treatments and enable data-informed rapid decision making, while limiting clinical supply process risks.

The 2022-23 Bose SCOPE team worked with Bose to infuse sustainability and product circularity across its global business operations.

The 2022-23 Brandeis SCOPE team overhauled the original Roshbash Lab FlyBox's hardware, assembly, and software, creating a robust and polished tool to track the behavior of genetically modified fruit flies over multiday periods.

In this project, our team worked closely with Blue Origin’s research and development lab to understand the standards and difficulties of PCBA rework and designed a workstation to revolutionize this process. This station is self-contained and significantly reduces lead times, allowing Blue Origin to complete all rework in-house.

This year's team worked to design a device to help technicians lift and transport batteries to work benches and installation locations.

The SCOPE team developed a custom tool with specific torque values to attach and remove avionics harness cable connectors to help decrease both the assembly time and turn-around time of the New Glenn launch vehicle.

This year’s SCOPE team created a package manipulation robot, with an integrated perception system, that can be operated remotely. The robot control system can be used to remotely support Amazon associates and improve the ability to complete orders quickly.

Amazon Robotics is engaging SCOPE students in exploring the space of classifying living and non-living beings, locating them, and understanding the vectors they’re heading using commercial-grade and consumer-grade sensing systems.

This year’s SCOPE team created an extensible object taxonomy framework and implemented an integrated active perception system to predict the performance of various object gripping strategies. This system can be used to enable a more diverse range of robot picking form factors and increase accuracy in warehouse operations at Amazon.

As a part of the NIH-funded HAFTRAP project, the AirPartners/Aerodyne SCOPE team created an integrated air quality measurement system that included both low and high-cost atmospheric chemistry instruments.

This ADE project explores ways to catalyze a cycle of improvement within the Clarksdale, Mississippi community, where roughly 8,000 out of 17,000 total residents live below the poverty line.

The ADE Massachusetts teams have engaged with area farmers to understand challenges and requirements in climate control.
