NEWS: Franklin W Olin College of Engineering Appoints Yoi Tanaka as Chief Student Enrollment and Engagement Officer to Nurture Seamless Student Journey
Franklin W Olin College of Engineering today announces the appointment of Yoi Tanaka as its inaugural Chief Enrollment Management and Student Engagement Officer.
This strategic alignment of enrollment management and campus experience marks a commitment by Olin College to put the holistic growth and well-being of the student at the center of its educational model and operations.
Tanaka, who previously served as Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid at Otis College of Art and Design will lead a newly unified portfolio designed to bridge the typical silo between enrollment and campus life. In addition to her enrollment responsibilities, she will oversee first-year experiential programming, development of new programs for under-represented minorities, first-generation, and international students.

Tanaka brings decades of specialized higher education leadership to the role, including extensive experience rooted in a career of creative education. Prior to her tenure overseeing admissions and financial aid at Otis College, Tanaka held progressive leadership roles at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, where she served as Director of Admissions.
