Electromechanical and Navigation Systems for a Lawn Mower
The 2013-2014 Ariens-Olin SCOPE team integrated electromechanical systems onto an Ariens lawn mower. These systems provide additional sensory feedback and precision control that would enable higher level navigation systems to be implemented onto the lawn mower. Basic navigation systems including straight line drive and precision turning were implemented and tested to demonstrate the capabilities of the system.
