Student Resources

This page is intended as a resource for Olin’s students. Student groups are intended to build community and create an inclusive campus climate for all. While student groups may have a singular focus, all groups are open to all students.

If you know of a resource that is missing, please let Alisha Sarang-Sieminski know and we can add it.

Students of Color

  • The MIX ( is a group for students of color. This group also supports National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) membership.

  • Olin’s Latinx Association (hOLA) is a cultural organization dedicated to fostering a social community among students of Latinx descent at Olin, and their allies.
  • Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) - coming soon.

  • The Indian Club ( is a group for Indian students.

  • The Wellesley Arab Women's Association ( is a group for people of Arab descent and is open to all students.

Students with Disabilities

Religious Groups

  • Society of Women Engineers ( is an active group at Olin for support of all things women-in-tech; it is open to students of all genders.

Other Resources

  • Olin’s library has many resources for different groups — just ask!

  • The Identity and Engineering Co-Curricular runs most years and is a space to talk about the intersection of identity (i.e. race, gender, ability, sexual orientation, etc.) and engineering.
