Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) the college has suspended all in-person campus visits. Given the uncertainty of the situation, a date has not been set for when the campus will be open to visitors. We are working on developing virtual resources that will allow prospective visitors to learn more about Olin. “Campus, Curriculum, Culture” tour
Learn about Olin’s unique courses and pedagogy as you experience a virtual curated tour classrooms and education spaces and hear from students about the culture of our campus. During the live-narrated 45-minute virtual tour, you will have the opportunity to speak with students, our most authentic ambassadors, while viewing images of learning spaces and hearing an overview of Olin’s curriculum.
Olin Virtual Immersion: Speak with faculty and leaders at Olin during custom-scheduled virtual meetings. Consult on your curricular project or on your choice of specific academic topics. Explore Olin’s campus, culture and curriculum through a selection of curated videos and a virtual tour; immerse yourself in discussions with faculty, staff and students. Available on based on faculty/leadership schedules. Fee varies depending on schedule.
Custom Workshop or Consultation
Olin can provide targeted virtual programs and/or consultation services for institutions facing particular challenges. Possible topics include Participatory Design, Goal-driven Approach to Project-Based Learning, Inclusive Learning Environments, Interdisciplinary Curriculum Design, Biomimicry: Engaging Students in Design Inspired by Nature, Envisioning Maker-spaces, Universal Design for Learning: How Inclusive Teaching Methods Can Challenge and Support All Students, Using Computation to Teach Everything Else, and more. Fee varies depending on schedule.
Virtual Design Coaching
Olin’s Design Coaching program is designed for institutional teams who are currently or will be working together on an educational innovation project. Accepted teams are matched with Olin faculty in a flexible engagement model that will allow you to plan your interactions with your Olin coaches over a predetermined period of time. The program provides a scaffolded experience to enable teams to make meaningful progress on curricular and institutional projects. Fee varies depending on schedule.
