Family Weekend is one of our favorite weekends on campus where we invite families of our students to celebrate all of their accomplishments and experience life at Olin.

Lobby, Milas Hall

Visit the Milas Hall Lobby to pick up your registration packet with a schedule of events, meal tickets as well as a snack. The Olin Gear Shop in Milas Hall 315 is open from 1pm-4pm.

Join faculty and staff in the Library as you get to know one another. Snacks, coffee and tea will get you refueled.

Design 101 for Families

Dining Hall –Main Floor, Campus Center

Learn the Olin way with a hands-on building project facilitated by students to create a Hopper inspired by nature- just like the Design Nature course!

Student Showcase and Demos

Academic Center and Oval

Oliners engineer impressive projects! See the results of their hard work through a showcase of awesome creations, including vehicles and more. Also, stop by the first floor of the Academic Center (AC) for a student-led tour of The Shop. 

4:30 – 5:00 pm

Olin Conductorless Orchestra Performance

Mezzanine (2nd floor), Milas Hall

Enjoy a special musical performance by our very own Olin Conductorless Orchestra (OCO).

5:00 – 7:00 pm

Olin Family Welcome Dinner

Dining Hall, Campus Center

We welcome everyone to campus for this family dinner. This complimentary meal will also include wine and beer for those 21+ (I.D. required). (meal tickets provided)

7:15 - 8:00 pm

Student Performances and Art Showcases

Make sure you catch student performances and their art showcases in Milas Hall. Dessert and other refreshments will be available.

Fire Arts Performance

Great Lawn

Olin Fire Arts Club (OFAC) students will perform their talent and passion for fire performance using different tolls and alternating movements for twirling and spinning fire! (weather permitting)

If you missed us on Friday, please stop by to pick up your registration packets and meal tickets. A continental breakfast will be in Milas Hall Lobby as you enter for the morning sessions.

Take advantage of this great opportunity to explore the Boston area on your own. Should you be back on campus, you are welcome to have dinner in the Dining Hall. (Parents and guests will pay-at-the-door or use a guest meal swipe from your student and the meal is included for students.)

If you'd like to enjoy a meal before you depart, the Dining Hall will be open for brunch. (This is a pay-at-the-door meal for parents and guests. Students use their meal plan.)
