Anne-Marie Dorning

Interim Chief Marketing Officer

Anne-Marie Dorning serves as the college’s Interim Chief Marketing Officer. She joined the college in 2013 and has held various positions since that time, including Associate Director for Media and Government Relations and Director of Content Development. Dorning, together with the MarCom team, has overall responsibility for the college’s communications and marketing efforts, including community and government relations, media relations and external affairs.

Previously, she held the position of Associate Director of Communications at Concord Academy. Before transitioning to education, Dorning worked for a number of years as an award-winning journalist, including at ABC News, where she covered a wide range of national stories, and at NBC where she covered the Olympics. She is the co-author of New England’s General Stores: Exploring an American Classic, which was released in 2017 by Globe Pequot Press. She brings to her role at Olin, 20 years experience in communications, writing, and advancing strong and compelling narratives. Dorning received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Toronto and her MA in Journalism from Northeastern University.
